Ralf Waldo Emerson once asked
the question "Who shall set a limit on influence?" With a lot of
influences in my life, my parish is one of the top influences that has made me
who I am. The church without saying, brought God into my life and with religious
classes from the priests in our parish, I was introduced to the teaching of
Christ, which set a standard of morals for me that I try to abide to. Another
important aspect that the church gave to me is a sense of belonging, anybody
could feel like our church is a friend because of all functions that the parish
creates.
Even though I don't have a specific goal in life,
I have a general idea what my job will be involved with. English has been a big
factor in my life, so I hope that everything will go my way to become a writer.
I know that it won't be a well paying job, but I am going to try to do this
because I love to write. If for some reason this plan doesn't work out, I would
like to become a professor or teacher of English, so I could pass on the
pleasure of literature and writing.
To get the education
needed to be able to do what I want to do, I decided to start my education at
Canisius College. Canisius College is rated as one of the strongest and best
colleges in the Northeastern part of the United States. I plan to attend
Canisius for two years, after that I want to finish my education at Fordham
University in Manhattan because of their strong English program.
As
you can see I want to be on the road to success and want to leave the feeble
minded at home to rest. I'm proud of heritage and I want everybody in the
Ukrainian community to look at me and say that I turned out to be a respectable
and admirable man.
